The Municipality of Pictou County has a population of about 20,000 and is the largest of the six municipal governments located in Pictou County. It is considered a rural government, unlike the other five urban units.

FINANCIAL SERVICES

The Municipality of the County of Pictou is currently receiving applications for summer employment in its financial services department.

Job Description:  To assist the finance department in delivering professional customer service to clients of the Municipality. Also, process accounts receivable payments, MOPC exemption forms, PNS Senior Rebate forms, bank deposits and other general office duties of the finance department.

At the time of application, applicants must be enrolled in a full-time post-secondary educational program appropriate to the position being sought.
